A short 6-minute walk to a local convenience store, and a 10-minute stroll to Agios Ioannis beach where you'll find cafés, bars and tavernas. Lefkada Town is approximately 30 minutes on foot or a short taxi ride.
Lefkada is the only Ionian island connected to the mainland by a causeway — meaning no ferry required. Fly into Preveza (Aktion Airport), drive 25 minutes across the bridge, and you're here.
The island is home to some of the most spectacular beaches in Europe — Porto Katsiki and Egremni regularly top international "best beach" lists — alongside forested mountain villages, charming harbour towns and a warmth of character that is distinctly Greek.
Lefkada receives sun from May through October, making it one of Greece's longest summer seasons. July and August are peak season; June and September are arguably the most beautiful months — warm, less crowded and absolutely magical.
